The annual AWA Release Liner Industry Leadership Award was presented this year during the recent 2019 Global Release Liner Industry Conference & Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina – and it went to Adrian Hulme, R & D Principal, Label & Graphics Materials North America, Avery Dennison Corporation.  

Presenting this special award for an outstanding contribution to release liners, AWA Alexander Watson Associates’ CEO Corey Reardon, said:  “Adrian’s work over the decades – he joined Avery Dennison in 1982 –  has spanned the development of release papers, films, and silicone coatings. He has been involved in many collaborative efforts, across the value chain, working with suppliers and customers alike – and it has benefited the entire release liner industry. He is a worthy successor to the previous winners – Dean Scarborough of Avery Dennison, Calvin Frost of Channeled Resources, and Wilhelm Munninger, of Mondi.”
